TWO SIZES:
S/M: Measures 42" around waist, measures 41" in length from underarm to hem, measures 31" from shoulder to crotch.
M/L: Measures 46" around waist, measures 43.5" in length from underarm to hem, measures 32" from shoulder to crotch.
PROCESS: Somnath is the artisan from West Bengal who hand spun and weave this cotton fabric. The jumpsuits are printed, cut and sewn in Rajasthan where we met a happy cooperative during our last trip to India. The manager started this cooperative 4 years ago to provide jobs to the women around so they could send their kids at school. The check fabric is made with ancient technique called mud-resist.
STORY: When I was a kid my mum made some jumpsuits for me. At least one pink and one black with some cute prints on them. I remember that they were SO comfy and that I was feeling cool and confident when I wore them. I found that super soft and heavy linen and decided to make one just to feel how it is again... Not disappointed at all, I feel all the powers, plus I get extra compliments for the cool shape and color!
CARE: This product has been dyed or block printed using ancient techniques. Colors gradually change overtime. Cold hand wash separately. Refresh in a bath of gentle soap or gently use your hands and slightly rub. Use a natural detergent that does not contain citrus or other acidic oil scents. Lay down on a towel to dry. Keep out of direct sunlight. Dark Indigo pieces are subject to bleed and stain other clothing if the product is washed with other items or becomes damp from perspiration, rain, etc. We recommend to wash separately or with jeans for the first few washes. Throws and pillows must be dry cleaned if made with two colors. Hand wash if one color.
