Part-Time Email Marketing & Newsletter Specialist 

Happy French Gang is looking for a freelance part-time Email Marketing Specialist to help us create beautiful, engaging newsletters and build automated email flows. We’re a slow-fashion brand based in San Francisco, working with natural fibers and small-batch production, and we’re looking for someone who understands aesthetic-driven brands.

Responsibilities

-Create weekly or bi-weekly newsletters using Flodesk

-Write clear, warm, brand-aligned copy

-Design layouts that reflect the Happy French Gang aesthetic

-Select and organize product photos and lifestyle images

-Build and update automated email sequences (welcome flow, post-purchase flow, abandoned cart, winback, etc.)

-Maintain consistent branding and tone across all emails

-Analyze performance (open rate, click rate, conversions) and suggest improvements

-Occasionally assist with light marketing tasks (launches, gift guides, seasonal campaigns, giveaways, event)

Requirements

-Experience in Flodesk (or similar platforms like Klaviyo, Mailchimp, etc.)

-Very strong writing skills and a good eye for design

-Experience with creating automated email flows

-Understanding of e-commerce and storytelling

-Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

-Familiarity with small, creative brands is essential

-Bonus: photo editing or light graphic design skills (Canva, Photoshop)

Hours & Compensation

-Part-time, flexible schedule (2-6 hours per week to start)

-Pay depending on experience

-Remote with collaboration via Zoom or in our studio in San Francisco
