Social Media and Marketing Coordinator 

 

The Part-Time Social Media and Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for managing the brand's social media presence, content creation, and marketing initiatives. This position is paid on an hourly basis, with an expected commitment of 4 to 6 hours per week. The ideal candidate should have a keen interest in sustainability and sustainable fashion, aligning with the brand's values. They will work closely with the team to ensure the brand's voice and tone are consistent across all platforms. The coordinator will also be involved in identifying collaboration opportunities and overseeing giveaway projects. The key qualifications and responsibilities include:

 

Instagram: 

  • Set up IG posts in advance using Planoly, selecting pictures, and writing engaging captions.
  • Create Reels using provided materials, staying current on trends and competitors.
  • Understand and maintain the brand voice, tone, and guidelines, refreshing them as needed.
  • Contribute to the content strategy and assist with content creation. Generate creative ideas for IG content that align with the brand.

Newsletter:

  • Create engaging newsletters using Flodesk.

Marketing/Giveaways:

  • Follow established processes for conducting giveaways.
  • Ideally proficient in Photoshop to create visually appealing marketing materials. (not necessary)
  • Identify potential brand collaborations that align with the company's values and target audience.
  • Take the lead on collaboration projects, coordinating with brands and ensuring timely follow-up.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working with small businesses, preferably in the sustainable fashion industry.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in content marketing or social media.
  • Demonstrated excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a meticulous attention to detail, language, flow, and grammar.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing previous work in social media management, content creation, and marketing campaigns.
  • Flexibility in work schedule and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
