In the Sahara, patterns and jewelry often have magical powers. For the Tuaregs, the Woodabés Peulhs, each small object attached to the body carries a meaning, a story, a force which protects them, gives them courage to face the desert. On these fine silver hoop earrings, small luminous figures, gilded with fine gold, sparkle. They represent suns, benevolent stars that shine brightly at night, the face of the moon when it is full.
