Only a handful of families in the world still practice this extraordinary craft.
Sujani weaving is a rare double-cloth technique that creates soft, cotton-filled pockets woven directly into the fabric itself. Each square is hand-stuffed with cotton batting as it is woven, forming gentle “puffs” that give the blanket its signature texture — airy, dimensional, and incredibly soft to the touch.
Our quilts are hand-loomed in the homes of our artisan partners in Gujarat, India. Each piece takes over 14 hours to complete on a traditional loom, using knowledge passed down through generations. Today, only two families remain who master this technique, which dates back to the 1860s. We are honored to work alongside them to help preserve and revive this remarkable craft.
Drape it over a bed, layer it on a sofa, or wrap it around your shoulders on a cool evening. The size is perfect as a throw for a chair or couch.
